    Abstract: 這是呂炳川教授在台東縣蘭嶼鄉漁人村做田野調查的照片。在這張照片中可以看見呂炳川教授背著盤式錄音機，與雅美族人在談話。這張照片可以清楚的顯示當時的漁人村已經有鋼筋水泥所的建築，顯現了傳統聚落空間的改變，是漁人村傳統聚落變遷的紀錄。蘭嶼四周環海，有其獨特的生態環境，蘊育出雅美人與太平洋相互依存的曆法和生活方式，以及表現在建築、造船、生活器具上獨特的藝術風格。
