    Abstract: 這是南投縣埔里鎮愛蘭里平埔族人在每年過年的時候所舉行的一個祭儀當中在場邊所插的一個旗幟的照片。愛蘭里的平埔族人主要是巴則海族，到目前為止僅有少數幾人能夠說母語，幾乎已經是完全漢化的族群，但是在過年的時候他們還是會有祭祖的儀式。從考古學者的發掘調查，埔里盆地自古即有人類居住，如大瑪璘遺址（位於烏牛欄台地，今稱愛蘭台地之東南側），其年代距今約二千三百年至一千七百年，但此遺址的主人與後來的平埔族群並無直接的關係。
