    Abstract: 這是呂炳川教授在民國五十五年八月十四號於賽夏族地區做調查的紀錄，地點是苗栗縣南庄鄉東河村。照片上的服飾看起來是家居休閒的服飾，也就是說在一般的場合中訪問的紀錄，而不是在祭典中所做的紀錄。賽夏族人分佈以苗栗縣南庄鄉最多，主要在東河、蓬萊、南江三村。其次為新竹縣五峰鄉，新竹縣竹東鎮亦有賽夏族人。
