    Abstract: 鄒族人在頭頂上裝飾羽毛。男子在舉行過成年禮以後 才可 以戴上皮帽。皮帽可以保護頭部，平日大都捲 起來，扣在皮帶上。盛裝打扮的時候，帽頂上插上一到四根的老鷹羽毛，現 在通常使用 帝雉的羽毛，充分表現出鄒族 男子的勇敢英武。鄒語“瑪雅斯比”的戰祭，是阿里山鄒族全體總動員的年度盛事，祭典的意義，主要是向天神表示他們的敬意，古時並有祈求征戰勝利與部落團結的深意。
