    Abstract: 此為鄒族戰祭時人山人海的情景，一旁還有警察維持秩序。戰祭，是阿里山鄒族全體總動員的年度盛事，祭典的意義，主要是向天神表示他們的敬意，古時並有祈求征戰勝利與部落團結的深意。過去戰祭皆由頭目決定舉辦與否及時間，目前則改由達邦、特富野二社輪流舉辦，日期多訂於每年陽曆的2月15日；戰祭的正典包括迎神祭、團結祭、送神祭、路祭及家祭等。
