    Abstract: 這是呂炳川教授在台東縣蘭嶼鄉野銀部落田野調查訪問族人時所拍的照片。呂炳川教授手拿著麥克風用盤式錄音機，來訪問野銀村的雅美族人。雅美族的歌謠和他們的生活環境是密不可分的。他們沒有樂器，僅以胸部、咽喉發出自由變化的聲音。雅美族在行政區分上隸屬於台東縣蘭嶼鄉，總人口數約四千多人，分佈在紅頭、漁人、椰油、東清、胡島、銀野六村。
