    Abstract: 鄒族分為阿里山曹亞、卡那布亞族、沙阿魯阿亞族。這是高中村沙阿魯阿亞兩個長老在歌唱的情況。被稱作南鄒的沙阿魯阿亞居住在高雄縣桃源鄉桃源村和高中村，即荖濃溪兩岸，人口只有兩百餘。他們傳統的貝神祭（Miatungusu）是在稻米收穫後二或三年舉行一次的大祭， 祭期連續數天，是沙族最獨特的宗教儀式。
