    摘要: 當代是一個自我意識高漲,但認同邊界鬆動,主體位置不確定的時代。「自由」與「不確定性」的精神概念籠罩於我們週遭,迫使人們必須重新思索生活及文化信念上的價值與意義,以免淹沒於時代的發展潮流中。觀諸藝術的表現亦復如是,格局是多元混雜的,呈現出媒材多變、文化多元、觀念多樣的特徵,而水墨畫作為當代藝術創作的一環,力求革新改變,自也不可能自外於此全球化的現況中。因此本文試著以台灣水墨畫現代化發展的探源過程作為起點背景,尋找今日台灣水墨畫在創作上所面臨的可能危機與困境:一、對傳統的審美精神意識之疑惑,二、對「筆墨」的當代思考,三、大眾消費文化的影響,四、反審美的疏離,五、面對「全球化」與「現代化」的內在焦慮等觀點提出分析與看法,嘗試釐清部分未來面對水墨畫創作的疑問。接著再由今日台灣水墨畫的多元發展現狀,論及水墨畫的「有所為」與「有所不為」當守界限,並導引出今日水墨畫的創作所缺者,乃在於創作方法論的邏輯思考建立,以及舉例介紹如何建構水墨創作方法論的方法概念,期望對於未來的水墨畫藝術創作能有所助益。
    This is an era where one’s self-awareness is high yet agreement with boundaries is slackened and one’s main subject is uncertain. Thus, the mental concept of “freedom” and “uncertainty” showers around us, forcing us to rethink the value and significance of life and cultural beliefs, so that one is not drown in the advancement trend of the era. This kind of situation also applies as we view at the various productions of arts. The style is diverse and mixed, presenting the features of varied media, multi-cultures and diverse concepts. And ink painting as part of the contemporary art also strives for innovative change so as not to place itself outside of the current global trend. Therefore, this article attempts to elaborate the processes of exploring the origin modernization of Taiwanese ink painting as its starting point as background. Looking for possible crisis and dilemma of the work of current Taiwanese ink painting might face: 1, doubts on the sense of traditional aesthetic concept; 2, contemporary thinking on “ink painting;” 3, the impact of mass consumer culture; 4, the alienation of anti-aesthetic; and 5, analysis on the inherent anxiety and views when encountering “globalization” and “modernization..” Attempt to clarify part of the doubts on the future ink painting production. Then on the current diverse development of Taiwanese ink painting status quo, addressing "can do" and "can’t do” as my limitation. Guide on the lack in today’s ink painting work, and to establish the logical thinking on methodology for painting, giving examples with descriptions on how to construct the concept of ink painting methodology. Hopefully it could be of help to the future artistic work in ink painting.
