近年來全球化的趨勢相對地帶來在地化的需求,「全球思考,在地化行動」已成為流行的口號,這也使得地方社區成為新的焦點,這股趨勢在台灣造成兩個影響層面:一是「社區總體營造」的社會改造運動;二是國民教育「學校社區化、社區學校化」理念而推展的學校本位課程。就嘉義市而言,這兩個層面以諸羅建城三百年古城所保存下來的古道景觀資源,較具有在地文化傳承和社區營造的價值,所以探究古道景觀資源,可以形成「追本溯源」的教材,對社區或學校都能營造更寬廣多元的學習環境與機會。 研究者發現不論是社區總體營造或國教改革都反應了利用在地的社區資源於學校推動鄉土教育的重要性,因此本研究將藉由文史記錄和實地調查走訪嘉義市古道,了解古道今昔風貌之演變,以及目前嘉義市國小利用古道資源發展學校本位課程之教學情形,研究者以南田古道作為教學研究的場域,以教學團隊行動研究方式,發現古道所遭遇的環境問題納入教學中,瞭解本位課程有助於學童對於地方的認知,建構學童對於古道良好的環境意象之形成,以及有效達成環境教育的目標。以社會實踐方式,藉由課程教學和申請公部門計劃共同推動學校社區化理念,希望藉此研究,結合學校與社區的力量,讓古道風華再現。 For the past few years, the trend of globalization has brought the need of localization.“Think globally, act locally,” has become a modish slogan. The local communities have become new focus because of it. This trend causes two influences in Taiwan. Firstly, the society reform of community empowerment. Secondly, the idea of compulsory education “school-communization, community schooling” has developed into school- based curriculum. For Chiayi City, the value of these two influences is the resource of ancient road view that was built 300 years ago in Zhuluo. It has high value of passing down local culture and community empowerment. Exploring the resource of ancient road view can become teaching materials for “tracing to the source.” This curriculum creates multivariate learning environment and opportunities for communities and schools. This study has shown that both community empowerment and the reform of compulsory education reflect the importance of using local community resource to push local culture education in school. Therefore, this paper studies the change of ancient roads in Chiayi City according to the record of literature, history and field observation. An elementary school in Chaiyi City developed ancient road resources into school-based curriculum. Researcher used Nantien ancient road as teaching area. This study adopted teaching group action research method. This study put the environmental problems that occurred to the Nantien ancient road into teaching. To understand the school-based curriculum can help students to know a local place better. This can also build a good image of environment to students and achive effectivelly the goal of the environmental education. By using the method of social practice, according to teach this curriculum and apply public sector plan to push the idea of school-communization. I hope I can combine the power of school and community to bring back the glory of ancient road by this study.
