The purpose of the research is to compare the views of rule of law between Taiwan and Mainland China college students. Further, the research analyzes the variable differences among “Consent”, “Possession”, or “Demand or more Demand” from students’ point of view. The research has chosen 1006 students from Taiwan and Mainland China (556 Taiwan students; 450 Mainland China students) to be a major group, and uses “Questionnaire of Taiwan and Mainland China Students’ Views on Rule law” to be a research means and to process the questionnaire research. Taiwan area uses Snowball sampling and Mainland China area uses Purposive sampling and Snowball sampling to process questionnaire performance. The total valid questionnaire sheets are 1006 (556 copies from Taiwan and 450 copies from Mainland China). After questionnaires are collected, the Percentage and Chi-square test statistics methods are used to test the hypotheses. According to the results from questionnaire research analysis, the conclusions are as follow: 1.In terms of upholding the rule of law, Mainland China college students have higher percentage than Taiwan students do.2.In terms of needing the rule of law, Taiwan students have higher percentage than Mainland China students do. 3.The principle that everyone is equal before the law is what Mainland China college students uphold most.
