MMORPG(massively multiplayer online role-playing game) regards as the most popular computer game in this day and age. It provides an opportunity which people create a whole new Self, and a space where players can communicate with the Other games characters, even it also develops good chemistry with the Other game characters. In addition to discover the difference between others to interact through “Face to Face”, it also offer help to the Other game characters voluntarily. However, Self-game characters will be how to deal with the treatment being marginalized and potentially threatening "Reds"? And what if Self-game characters turn into “Reds”, how to face the Other game characters? In this research, we intend The Philosophy of the Other for the main research method, and explore the phenomenon of “Reds” in MMORPG. By reason of online games have Virtuality, Occult, and Openness, making strengths and weaknesses, potential threat, fear of failure and other factors on the impact of Self will be much lower than real world. Therefore, The Philosophy of the Other is more easier to execute among the online games. I will show the relation between the various possibilities of Self and the Other, and also illustrate how the center and the edge are formed, and answer the significance about the center and the edge to “Reds”.
