    Abstract:   本研究之目的在探討「聖嚴法師禪學思想」、「教育戲劇」與「生命教育」結合之「禪化生命教育」課程設計,對國小高年級學生之影響。   本研究採用行動研究法,以研究者擔任導師之國小高年級生(N=25)為研究對象。課程分四個主題,每主題四週,每週教學三節,共實施一學期48節課。   結果發現,學生在「認識自我、自我肯定」、「善解感恩」、「積極處事不執著」、「面對生命無常」等面向皆有正面的成長。家長也發現學生變得較能關愛、慈悲、勇於面對及明白事理,可見本課程設計對學生有其效益。   本研究並提出具體結論與建議,期望能對宗教-生命教育-教育戲劇等系統之未來研究有所助益。
      The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of merging Master Sheng Yen's Chan’s (Zen’s) ideology, drama-in-education and life-education into curriculum for the 25 senior grade students of one elementary school in middle part of Taiwan.    The action research method was adopted. The whole curriculum contents four topics-each included twelve courses and a total of 48 hours was completed in sixteen weeks.   The results of analysis shows that adopting strategies of Drama –in- Education (D-I-E) during instructions is beneficial to practicing Master Sheng Yen's Chan’s (Zen’s) Ideology. Analysis of the subjects’ responses also shows a positive progress on aspects such as self-affirmation, grateful attitude, being constructive and perseverant when facing impermanence of life.    In conclusion, the specific results and suggestions also addressed for future researches and educators.
