摘要: | 隨著外籍配偶愈來愈多,外籍配偶子女就學的人數逐年增加,教育問題也愈受重視。本研究以雲林縣某小學為例,探討影響外籍配偶子女學業成就的因素。以全校學生為研究對象,進行問卷調查,取得有效問卷925份,並以學務系統資料為次級資料進行分析。 研究結果發現如下:外籍配偶子女的學業成就比一般學生低,在國語科和英語科、數學領域、自然與生活科技領域、社會領域上有明顯的低落情形,外籍配偶的個人背景會影響學業成就,例如國籍、教養方式。父親的社經地位會影響學業成就,例如教育程度、職業。學生的個人變項會影響學業成就,例如性別、個性、行為特徵。家庭資源變項會影響學業成就,例如文化資本。溝通與指導變項會影響學業成就,例如外籍配偶的中文能力、家庭氣氛、家庭指導與補習。 辦理文化學習活動、親職教育活動、補救教學,可增進外籍配偶的中文能力,提升外籍配偶子女的文化知能與學業成就。由本研究結果可對影響外籍配偶子女學業成就的因素有更多的了解,以做為未來研究之參考。 With the increasing number of new immigrants, the number of new immigrant mothers’ children at school increase every year. We have been drawn our attention to educational issues. This study took a case of an elementary school in Yunlin county. It discussed the factors associated with academic achievement of new immigrant mothers’ children. This study took the whole school students as objects. It carried on the questionnaire survey. There were 925 effective questionnaires. The study also took the school data base as a secondary data. The results were: the academic achievement of new immigrant mothers’ children was lower than the average, significantly on Chinese, English, math, science & technology , and social studies. New immigrant mothers’ personal background, such as nationality, and ways of discipline, Chinese fluency, would affect their children’s achievement. The fathers’ socioeconomic status, such as educational background, occupation, would affect the kids’ achievement, too. Students’ personal varieties , such as gender, personality, would affect their achievement. Family, such as cultural background, communicational skills, family atmosphere, family guidance, cram school and etc. Cultural learning activities, parenting education and remedial teaching can enhance new immigrant mothers’ Chinese language ability and cultural knowledge, and also improve the children’s academic achievement. |
