    摘要: 在台灣，園藝活動是相當受到歡迎的休閒活動之一，每年的經濟產值亦有一定的規模。近幾年來， 對於園藝活動的關注除了高經濟產值以外，對於陶冶性情、撫慰人心的功能也逐漸受到了重視。家家 戶戶或多或少皆可見到盆栽植物被擺放在陽台上或門前，這些植物皆成為社區景觀構成因子的一份 子。但是，台灣民眾最常種植擺設在戶外的是哪些種類的植物？這些植物構成的社區景觀又有哪些台 灣專屬的特色與風貌？在非典型農村亦非典型都市的社區中，園藝植物所構築的景觀又有何特色？在 既往研究之中較少見到探討與研究。 因此本研究將透過在嘉義縣民雄鄉福樂村的實地普查，調查該社區居民進行園藝活動的比例、居 民種植在戶外的植物種類、種植方式等以了解該社區的景觀構成之特色。並經由居民訪談，了解民眾 進行園藝活動的動機與得到的回饋。本研究成果將可作為未來社區營造時挑選適當植物種類、台灣南 部民眾初次挑戰園藝的種植目標等之參考。
    Gardening activity is one of the popular recreations in Taiwan. They also created quite a few economic interests every year. In this years, they are not only attended the economic benefit of gardening, but also interest the effect of horticulture therapy. In the residential in Taiwan, we can find many pot horticultures which are displaying on the balcony or front yard. Those pot horticultures are also become one of the landscape constitute in community. However, what kind of the plant species are displaying on those places? What is the characteristic and style in the community which was locating between country side and urban by those pot horticultures displaying? We can not find a lot of papers which were researching those topics in Taiwan. Therefore, we will survey all of the outdoor horticultures species and their displaying situation in Fule Village, Minxiong Township, Chiayi County, to find out the style of the landscape constitute in this community. At the same time, we will survey how many of the Fule villager are taking gardening activity, and what kind of the feelings and feedbacks when they taking the gardening activity will be receive. By the way, the result of this research could be the database when the community development planning choosing the appropriate plants in south Taiwan.
