| 摘要: | 近年來網路算命帶來一股算命風潮，網路的便利讓多數的網路使用者都有使用過網路算命的經驗，乍看之下似乎有取代傳統的算命的趨勢。因此，本研究的目的在於瞭解目前社會大眾是如何看待網路算命與傳統算命，透過命主對兩種算命的看法來釐清兩種算命之間的關係，與命主為何會想要使用網路算命的原因與動機，以及命主希望從網路算命當中獲得什麼，進而探討命主與網路算命之間信任的關係，與算命師的權威性是否因為網路算命的出現而發生改變，最後釐清傳統算命與網路算命之間的本質是否相同。 根據本研究的發現，當使用者真正遇到問題的時候，想要尋求幫助的反而是傳統算命而非網路算命，也就是說，現階段兩種算命方式在本質上是不同的。傳統算命與網路算命最大的差別就在於媒介，這也剛好是網路世界與真實世界最大的差異。命主之所以使用網路算命，是因為動機使然，網路算命的確能夠滿足某部份人的需求，但是卻因為溝通模式的不同，讓信任無法建立，就算命來說，網路信任的建立機制是不適用的，人們還是傾向信任傳統的溝通模式，命主所堅信的仍舊是傳統算命師所給予的權威性。換言之，傳統算命師的權威是不能被取代的，可以被取代的只是一種介面，就目前來說，它能取代的只是通路的改變，通路背後所代表的價值與符號是不能改變的。因此，網路算命與傳統算命不是形式上的差異而是本質的不同，分別滿足不同命主的個別需求。網路算命雖然具有的傳統算命所沒有的優勢，但是傳統算命卻擁有網路算命無法取代的價值，算命本身是傳統的，網路本身是現代的，因此，網路算命，是一項擺盪在傳統與現代之間的算命。
Online fortune-telling has become a trend in the recent years. Due to the convenience of Internet, most of the Internet users have the experiences of online fortune-telling, which seem to replace the function of traditional fortune-telling. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to examine the way people think of online fortune-telling and traditional fortune-telling. Via three dimensions, including the ways users view the relationship between the two modes of fortune-telling, the motivation and reasons of using online fortune-telling, and what adopters hope to obtain from it, we try to further investigate the relationship between the adopters and online fortune-telling. In the meanwhile, it is hoped to figure out whether fortune-teller’s authority has changed or not because of the bloom of online fortune-telling, and also distinguish the differences of essence between traditional fortune-telling and online fortune-telling. According to the findings, when the users face difficulties, they tend to ask traditional fortune-telling for help instead of online mode. In other words, the results show that the natures of the two fortune-telling modes are quite different. The media might be the most obvious distinction, which is also the exact one to differentiate Internets and the real world. The main reason for adopters to use online fortune-telling is their motivation. Online fortune-telling could indeed meet some people’s need. However, because of different communication modes, mutual trust fails to build. The trustful system constructed by Internet is not suitable in conducting fortune-telling. People tend to trust the traditional ways of communication. What the adopters believe in is the authority delivered by traditional fortune-tellers. In other words, The traditional fortune-teller’s authority could not be replaced, and what could be replaced is the interface. To date, what can replace traditional fortune-telling is the alternation of the interface; nonetheless, the value as well as the symbol representing the interface could not be changed. As a result, what differs between online fortune-telling and traditional one lies in their natures rather than their forms, which could satisfy different needs of adopters. Although online fortune-telling possesses the advantages that are lack in traditional fortune-telling, traditional fortune-telling is also endowed with the value that is hard to be replaced. Fortune-telling is traditional in nature, while the Internet is a modern technology. Due to the reason, we can conclude that online fortune-telling is the one lingering between tradition and modern times. |
