    摘要:   文化產業所產製和流通的產品,再現了這個世界,也相當程度地協助個人建構內在的、私人的生活;即我們的幻想、情感及認同。《機動戰士鋼彈》(Mobil Suit Gundam)是一部日本動畫,其產製品流行至今已逾三十年,其模型商品更是大量地被台灣消費者所使用。組裝鋼彈模型需要按照一定的步驟來進行,但是當原來的遊戲規則被大家使用及操作之後,將會產生何種的變化?人們藉著這套規則延伸、擴展了更多意義與內涵的同時,這些意義與內涵又反映出了什麼樣的個人心理與社會事實?    正如每一種語言都有它的文法一樣,每一種文化與社會,也都有屬於他們的獨特系統。「鋼普拉」(Gunpla)也有一套它的系統,模型本身的屬性、產銷的運作、物件使用的方法等。依據索緒爾(Ferdinand Saussure)之主張:語言是一套約定俗成的系統;語言無法在單一的說話者身上成為一體,它只能在集體的狀態下才能完美存在;以及脈絡(context)與系統決定意義等相關符號學理論,本研究將在此學理基礎上,藉著田野調查、問卷及相關脈絡與場域的探討,試著整理出「鋼普拉」的變形、分類、演變及其內含的價值與文化意涵。    在論文內容上,第一章為緒論;第二章為「鋼普拉」產業的源起與內容特色;第三章為田野的相關調查資料,透過對模型店家、模型展以及雜誌、網路討論區的調查與分析,並與模型收藏者進行深度的訪談,呈現「鋼普拉」被賦予的意義內容。第四章為模型與組裝工具類型及變化的分析,透過對收藏者的問卷調查與模型比賽作品的呈現方式,探討其中可能存在的集體意識以及約定俗成的操作機制,並進一步瞭解「鋼普拉」所具有的普遍性文化意涵。第五章結論為本研究之初步總結,也或可為後續研究的另一個新的基點與開始。
      The products in the system of culture industry have more or less represented the internal and private lives of individuals, such as imagination, emotion, and recognition. "Mobil Suit Gundam" is a Japanese animation whose related products have been quite popular for over thirty years and its models have been widely accepted by consumers in Taiwan. One has to follow established procedures to assemble Mobil Suit Gundam models. What kind of variation will it have after the original procedures have been widely adapted? By extending the existing procedures, one may expand to include wider meaning and contents. What kind of individual mind and social reality can be reflected through this?    Like the grammar is in a language, so are there a specific systems in every culture and society. Gunpla also has its own system and the models have their own individuality, production and sales proceidues, and operation methods. According to Ferdinand Saussure, language is a system that is established through common use. A language cannot establish from one individual, but from a group of people. The context and system can determine the meaning as described by some theories in semiology. In this thesis, the variation, classification, and transformation as well as their values and cultural meaning of Gunpla are organized on the basis of the theories above via field work, surveys, and investigation of related connections and fields.
