    摘要:   藝術的學習不能侷限於精緻藝術的象牙塔內,應發展多元文化的價值觀,在二十一世紀藝術教育的新課題中,藝術教育的內容應提供學生探索生活中事物的機會,了解社會脈動與藝術間的連結,而目前教育政策推動的「藝術家駐校活動」就是最好的實踐方式,藝術家走出束之高閣的畫框邁向通俗的平民化教育,由生活藝術切入,帶領學生領略生活之美。   藝術家的進駐可以活化藝術課程的教學,也能補足無專任藝文教師的缺憾,學校教師也會因為藝術家的進駐彼此教學相長。研究者身為教育工作者的一員,樂見藝術家對於駐校活動的參與,然而當大家將提升學童藝術涵養的重責大任寄託在藝術家的身上,卻對藝術家參與駐校活動的心態鮮少觸及,而多直接從學校及行政角度去進行探討。鑑此,本研究的目的有四:(一)、從藝術家觀點理解駐校動機。(二)、探討駐校藝術家駐校活動的涉入程度以及影響涉入的因素。(三)、從藝術家觀點了解駐校的體驗以及影響體驗的因素。(四)、探討駐校藝術家涉入程度及體驗間的關聯。   研究者從藝術家的觀點,以質性研究法,透過文獻分析、深度訪談與參與觀察的方式,對於駐校課程涉入的程度與體驗過程的感知,所得到的結論如下:(一)藝術家駐校動機來自人情之考量與個人理想之實現。(二)藝術家對於課程的涉入與體驗受駐校形式、駐校時間、本身的興趣、學校的氣氛所影響。   根據研究結果,本研究對於藝術家以及學校提出以下具體建議:(一)藝術家本身應:1、將駐校視為社會參與的責任,積極主動。2、了解學生的個性與發展程度,提高學習成效。3、發揮專長,豐富課程內涵。4、與社區場域建立連結,善用在地生活記憶。5、結合地方產業與特色設計課程,提高藝術課程生活化及實用性。(二)學校方面應:1、以社區內的藝術家為邀請首選,共同發展地方特色。2、善用藝術家專長行銷學校。3、提供藝術家良好的創作及工作環境。4、與藝術家建立良好的夥伴關係,以積極、熱忱的態度對待。5、規劃完善的課程計畫,配合藝術家專業技能。
      The course of learning the art is not to be confined within the ivory tower and the potential value of different alternatives should also be recognized. An emerging agenda for art education in the 21st century therefore is to facilitate opportunities for students to explore the many linkages between art and social context in their daily life. The current practice of Artist in Campus program highlights a possibility to bring artists out of their studios and by personally contribute to art education in the primary schools through living art.   The Artist in Campus program enriches arts curriculum and makes up for the absence of professionally trained teachers. It also facilitates peer learning between residential artists and school teachers. However extant research has largely approached this subject matter from school administration perspective and seldom on the participation of artists. As artists play a central role in the program and carry the responsibilities to improve children’ artistic skills and expression, a further understanding toward their personal involvement and experience in the program is very critical. Therefore there are four purposes of the research: (1) To gain an understanding toward the background of the artists in the residential programs; (2) the extent of their involvement and the factors affecting their involvement; (3) their experience with the program and (4) as related to the extent of their involvement.   This research utilizes a qualitative research approach. To build knowledge toward the subject, several data collection instruments including archival analysis, in-depth interview and participant-observation are used. The results of the research find the two followings: 1. Artists engagement with campus program are motivated by their personal needs for self-actualization and driven by the influence of social networks. 2. The degree of their involvement, as related to experience depends on the type and duration of the program. Their personal interest and school support are also very critical. In terms of real world implications, the research provides reference to both the artists who wish to involve in artist in campus programs and school administration.
