This study aims to investigate the experiences of the man who sentencing resulting from frame-up in Taiwan. This study begins with a review of the Death Penalty system in Taiwan, and an in-depth exploration of the narrative inquiry method. The process and ethics of narrative inquiry was explored order to ensure the study’s reliability. The narratives were then analyzed along five dimensions: a law-abiding guy/ a homicide, innocent/ unbending, to keep up/ to surrender, trust/ to query, indemnification/ to wait for. The main objective of the analysis was to explore the conflicting dilemmas and extreme stress of the innocence people.Because of few research has ever shed light on such an issue especially in Taiwan. This thesis hopes to provide a fresh perspective for innocence people. Further more, this thesis hopes to inspire different social groups to discuss the issue.
