本研究目的在於試圖從南、北差異的觀點出發,探討2006 年直轄市選舉北、高選民於媒介使用與人際傳播的差異性,且釐清媒介使用、人際傳播的運用與政治信任感及政治效能之間的關聯性,並進而探討是否對其投票行為產生顯著影響。本研究採用「次級資料分析法」,資料來源為2005 年至2008 年『選舉與民主化調查』四年期研究規劃(II):2006 年北高兩市選舉面訪案」(TEDS2006C)。 研究結果發現,整體而言,北高兩市選民的投票行為:(1)在決定投票對象的時間上,年齡、社會網絡交叉壓力與政治信任感為影響台北市選民的因素;而閱讀報紙選舉新聞及政治外在效能感則是影響高雄市選民。(2)在市長人選的投票對象上,教育程度、收聽廣播選舉新聞及政治信任感是左右台北市選民的重要因素,而教育程度與政治內在效能感則成為高雄市選民投票傾向的關鍵。 The main purpose of this study is to examine the impacts of voters' media use and interpersonal communications based on Taipei and Kaohsiung's Mayor elections in 2006. And it discusses the relationship between media use, interpersonal communications, political trust and political efficacy. Secondary data analysis was used to the study and the data was from Taiwan's Election and Democratization Study, 2005-2008 (II): The City Mayor Election, 2006 (TEDS2006C). Results show that age, political cross-pressure and political trust to influence voters in determining the time to vote in Taipei, but reading newspapers and political external efficacy could influence voters in Kaohsiung City. In addition, education, listening to the radio news and political trust are important factors for voters in Taipei City whoever you vote, however education and political internal efficacy are key factors in Kaohsiung.
