Abstract:	朱西甯是台灣文學裡重要的作家之一，從50年代開始小說的創作發表，生產了近30部的小說作品。在朱西甯近50年的創作歲月裡，所寫出小說的題材涵蓋多樣，且風格多變，而他豐富的學養與呈現出來的藝術觀都屢屢出現在他的小說創作中。　　　　本論文即是以朱西甯所創作且已出版的長、短篇小說為主要的研究範圍，透過客觀上對朱西甯小說裡所塑造人物的多層面描述，其所表現出來自己鮮明的個性、寫作態度與所欲表達的意象，及當時的時代背景與他強悍、意象豐富的語言風格，探究故事中對於生命觀點與生命存在價值所傳達的看法，同時探討其中所蘊涵的生命哲學與生命美學，最後再融入個人觀點，期能在主觀上對朱西甯小說中的生命觀及生命哲學與生命美學能有更深一層的認識。　　　　本論文的研究架構，第一章敘明研究動機與所使用的研究方法，並就前人研究的相關論文作一回顧探討。第二章探討朱西甯的生平與小說創作，從朱西甯的生長環境、家庭狀況、求學情形、宗教信仰等，如何影響並轉變他的小說風格，同時亦把他各個時期的主要小說作品，做一初步的探討。第三章則是探究朱西甯小說世界中的生命觀，包括捨身求全的生命觀——生命真諦的創造、超脫生死的生命觀——生命存在的價值、死生相依的生命觀——生命情懷的追尋。第四章則是研究朱西甯小說的生命哲學，探討小說故事裡所傳達出的存在的價值、死亡的態度及生命的意義。第五章則是研究朱西甯小說的生命美學，探究朱西甯的小說世界裡所創造的美的產物，喚起讀者的生命美感，從而達到作者與讀者的感情交流、生命交流。第六章結論則是對朱西甯小說中的生命觀提出綜論。　　Zhu his-ning was one of the most important writers in the field of Chinese literature in Taiwan. He started to write and issue his novels from fifties and about thirty novels were produced at his hands. The period of his literary creation lasted for around half a century. Zhu’s works carry complicated and various idiosyncrasies. His erudition and viewpoint of art were always emerged in the novels that he created.　　　　The ambits of this thesis is consists of all novels, river novel and short story, which produced by Zhu his-ning. By various description of the characters in Zhu his-ning’s novels objectively, I try to explore the viewpoint of life and the value of life existence in the story, also discuss the life philosophy and life aesthetics in it. Finally, I address my opinion and standpoints subjectively, and hope to get further understanding of the viewpoint of life on Zhu his-ning’s novels.　　　　The thesis divides into six chapters. In the beginning, point out the reason and method of the thesis and trace back the related studies to Zhu his-ning’s novels. Secondly, discuss about Zhu his-ning’s novels and his biography, including the environment of growth, his family, education and religious belief. The third chapter, discuss about the life viewpoint on Zhu his-ning’s novels. The forth chapter, discuss about the life philosophy on Zhu his-ning’s novels. The fifth chapter, discuss about the life aesthetics on Zhu his-ning’s novels. In the end, I’ll sum up these life viewpoints on Zhu his-ning’s novels.
