本研究主要探究越南新移民女性來台前後之休閒行為之概況,並歸納其在台休閒行為之類型和休閒風格之特徵。論者於九十五年九月間接觸越南新移民女性,便以參與觀察法的方式進行研究的蘊釀。在九十六年八月至九十七年六月期間,論者進行在台婚齡七年以上的越南籍新移民女性為訪談對象。研究結果發現,新移民女性在其原生國因經濟資本匱乏而至台灣發展,來台初期休閒機會較為匱乏,但隨著來台時間增長,語言溝通能力的進展、大眾和私人交通工具的熟悉,和外出工作帶來的經濟資源,促使其在家的地位提高,握有休閒活動的自主權,參與休閒的機會增多。研究後其休閒行為可歸納出六個面向分別為:(一)以生活舊經驗為核心,延展其休閒活動;(二)休閒參與有限,以娛樂性休閒活動為主;(三)以族裔網絡為休閒同伴,越南店家成為休閒消費場域;(四)親子活動為核心,積極參與子女學校辦理的社交活動;(五)親子互動主要受交通工具與經濟性因素影響;(六)休閒消費以滿足孩子需求為主。 The research primary discussed the situation of the new Vietnamese female immigrants' leisure behaviors before and after arrival to Taiwan and inducted its types of the leisure behaviors as well as the characters of leisure styles. The researcher began to connect with the new Vietnamese female immigrants from September 2006 in order to employ participant observation to do the research. The participants who are married to Taiwanese for more than seven years were chosen between August 2007 to June, 2008. The findings reveal that the new Vietnamese female immigrants came to Taiwan because of the destitute economy in their original country. In the beginning, it is deficient in the opportunity of participating the leisure activities; however, the growth of the time in Taiwan, the progress of language communicative ability, the familiarity with the public or the private transportation, and the economical resource from the job are the elements to promote the higher position in their family and then to have the rights of the leisure activities as well as to increase more chances to participate leisure activities. There are six aspects of the leisure behaviors: (1) past life experiences are the kernel concepts to extend the leisure activities; (2) entertainment activities are the major leisure activities due to the limitation of participating activities; (3) Vietnamese stores are the main places for leisure because the companions are primary based on their relatives; (4) family activities are the central activities and they participate children's school activities actively; (5) family activities are affected by the transportation and the economical factors; (6) the major element of the leisure consumption is to satisfy children's need.
