    Title: 兒童繪本性別意識型態之研究-以教育部推薦57本繪本為例

    Abstract:   就現今教育風貌而言,教育多元化後性別議題受到重視,我國九年一貫課程綱要亦將兩性平等教育列入重要議題中,惟現今的兒童可能於義務教育階段前就已經開始接受文本讀物-繪本的薰陶。就幼稚園而言,繪本可算是一種廣義、非正式的課程,Apple認為:課程離不開意識型態的操弄,繪本內容對兒童的發展之影響,不可謂不甚。   本研究主要研究目的在探討教育部所推薦之57本兒童繪本,能否傳達性別平等意識內涵?是否隨著新時代的發展,產生有別以往、具顛覆性的性別角色?或者是新舊兼具的融合性觀點?教育部所推薦的這些兒童繪本的內容是如何呈現性別角色的意象?是否意欲傳遞性別平等的意識?希望透過自兒童最早接觸的文本讀物-繪本,來探討繪本中圖文所蘊含的性別意識。   本研究之研究對象,選自教育部所推薦之57本兒童繪本作品為主,以內容分析的方法分析文本中所傳遞的訊息,以了解教育部所推薦之繪本,在性別刻板印象、性別出現比例及性別偏見等三大面向上是否有達其倡行性別平等觀之目的。其研究結果發現,這些繪本與上述三大面向上多呈現新舊兼具的融合性觀點,惟有在性別出現比例上,比較趨近性別平等之內涵,其餘在性別刻板印象與性別偏見的檢驗上,顯示其故事的架構呈現,仍無法完全跳脫傳統刻板印象的價值觀與破除性別偏見。最後,研究者根據研究發現,提出建議以供教育當局參考。
      Nowadays gender issue was emphasized after Educational diversification. In our nine-year consistent syllabus has put gender equality as an important issue in education, but today children may have been influenced by the picture books before the compulsory education stage. In kindergarten syllabus, picture books can be said a generalized and informal curriculum, Apple thinks that the content of picture books may have great impact on children development if course be manipulated by consciousness ideology.   The purpose of our study is to discuss the fifty-seven picture books recommended by education department can achieve the following topics: 1.Convey connotation of gender equality ideology 2.With the new era of development, have a different past, a subversive gender roles 3.The fusion of both new and old views 4.How these books present images of gender roles 5.Whether to convey the consciousness of gender equality   This study is to discuss the gender consciousness behind graphic in picture books, through the children touch the earliest text books-picture books.The object of this study is mainly chosen from fifty-seven picture books recommended by education department. Using content analysis to analyzing the information that books convey and to understanding whether the picture books that recommended by education department has achieved the promotion of gender equality view in the following three points. 1. Gender stereotype 2. Gender appears radio 3. Gender bias.   The results of this study find that these books and three points that above mention have present fusion of both old and new views; only gender appears ratio is more closely to connotation of gender equality, the others in gender stereotype and gender bias test show that the structure of the story cannot fully bound by traditional stereotype values and get rid of gender bias. Finally the researcher makes recommendation for the education authority to consult based on the result of this study.
