Abstract:	國際書展為出版活動中的交流重要節點，除藉由書籍展銷、版權貿易與出版合作等方式達成商業目的，並有更深層的文化交流與發展之意涵。國際書展不儘是一個展示出版成果、陳列出版品的場所，也是一個出版商業與人際交流以及文化交流之理想平台。因此國際書展對出版或人類文化交流與提升上具有相當的地位。　　　關於國際書展國內外尚無較具體之學術性研究，故其屬於待開發之研究領域，因此本研究乃針對國際書展做探索性研究，且藉由文獻調查法取得國際書展之相關資料，進行統整與分析，並嘗試探討國際書展於出版活動中所扮演的角色與功能，以展覽行銷面向與版權交易面向來分析現階段國際書展，具體提出國際書展之辦展模式。並以台北國際書展為例，研究其角色與功能等並深入研究分析，提出在全球化環境之下，面對華文市場的需求，提出有效之辦展建議與方案。　　　透過大量文獻調查與統整，並經本研究整理與分析後，針對國際書展的本質面可得以下幾點結論：1.國際圖書市場已成形，國際書展為重要出版交流，並在出版商業機制與文化發展交流扮演重要角色。2.國際書展漸漸朝版權交易功能與專業辦展方向發展。3.線上版權交易對國際書展版權造成功能轉移之影響。4.台北國際書展個案分析並提出辦展之建議。　　　International book fair is important point of publishing interchange. Besides it can achieve commerce purpose in book-sell, copyright and co-publish, there are further meaning of culture interaction and development. International book fair is not only a place exhibits publishing products but a ideal platform of publishing commerce, interpersonal and cultural interaction. Therefore, international book fair is having important advantage in humanity cultural interaction and improvement.　　　　Due to the lack of systematic academic studies on international book fair, the thesis intends to do the research in this subject while widely collecting the related documents as well as reviewing these documents in expecting to find out the role and the function that international book fair plays and performs in the publishing activities, mainly form the “exhibition marketing” and the “copyright trading” two aspects. Through analyzing different types and various kinds of international book fairs around the world, the thesis then proposes a model of holding the International Book Fair. In addition, the thesis also takes TIBE (Taipei International Book Exhibition) as an important case study, and then makes some specific suggestions about holding the international book fair under the global circumstances to feed the needs of the so called “Chinese-language market”.　　　　After doing the research, through reviewing and interviewing, the thesis, as a pilot study, still makes some contributions and conclusions as the following: firstly, it is the forming of the international book market that results in the emergence of the international book fair, which has already played an important role in both business trading and culture exchange in publishing activities; secondly, the focus of the international book fair is moving toward the direction of copyright trading and the professional exhibition-holding; thirdly, online copyright trading indeed impacts on the function of the international book fair in copyright trading; fourthly, taking TIBE as the case study and making some suggestion on holding a fair.
