    摘要:   在台灣加入WTO及實行殯葬管理條例後,各種內外在環境的改變,促使殯葬公司的經營型態也隨之改變,在殯葬產業競爭日趨激烈的環境下,殯葬業者應該採取何種經營策略,才能競爭激烈的環境中保有競爭優勢,是本研究主要的研究目的。   本研究的架構係採用Aaker的理論架構來進行內外在分析與策略規劃。整個研究架構分為四個階段:一、首先進行內外在分析,以界定外在環境中的機會與威脅,以及該產業的關鍵成功因素,並了解個案公司所擁有的優劣勢。二、根據以上分析,歸納出該公司所面臨的問題。三、提出可行的策略,在該策略下擬定競爭策略與營運策略。四、對個案公司提出經營策略上的建議方案。   經過本研究分析後,發現國內殯葬產業的關鍵成功因素為:領導能力、禮儀人員的專業能力及向心力、服務品質穩定度、服務軟硬體設施、行銷通路穩定度、品牌知名度、充裕的資金、供應商關係。   從內外在環境分析來看,本研究建議個案公司在短期採行產品擴張策略,在長期採行市場擴張策略,並且以差異化集中作為競爭策略,以發揮個案公司的核心能力,並能繼續累積未來的競爭優勢。本研究對政府輔導業者時的建議為:盡速規範生前契約應載明之內容、確實監督生前契約信託基金、加強業者輔導。對後續研究者的建議為:可同時研究多家殯葬公司公司,以作出對殯葬產業經營更一般化的歸納原則、研究亞洲其他國家殯葬業者之經營策略,以利國內業者比較參考、了解殯葬產業未來競爭環境。  
      After Taiwan becomes a member of WTO and practices the Rules of Funeral Management, the change of internal and external environment force business forms of funeral companies to change as well. In a competition in funeral business that is getting tougher day by day, the object of the study is what funeral managers should take for management strategy to maintain the competitive advantages in the tough environment.   The theoretical frame of Asker is taken as the frame of the study, which is proceeded in internal and external analysis and strategic programs. The whole frame of the study is divided into four phases. 1. First to proceed in internal and external analysis to define opportunities and threat in outer environment, and key successful factors so as to understand advantages and disadvantages a case company owns. 2. Based on the analysis above, to induce the problems that a company faces. 3. To provide the practical strategy, by which competitive and business strategies can be drafted. 4. To provide suggestive projects on management strategy for a case company.    After the analysis of the study, it is found that key successful factors are leadership, the specialized ability and centripetal force of ceremonial personnel, the stability of service quality, abundant funds, hardware and software, the stability of marketing circuit, Brand well-knownness, talking toward customers to persuade them with quotations from classics, and Supplier relations.    Observed by analysis of internal and external environment, it is suggested in the study that a case company should take the strategy “product-extension” in short period, and the strategy “market-extension”in long period. Besides, a case company should take differences-centeredness strategy in order to develop its core power and to accumulate competitive advantages in the future. It is suggested to the government counselling industry in the study to rule the content of antemortem contract that should be enregistered clearly as soon as possible, to surely supervise antemortem trust funds, and to augment businessmen’s guidance. The suggestion toward researchers is that researchers can study several funeral companies at the same time to more generally inductive principles for funeral business, and study management strategies of other Asian companies to compare, reference and undersatnd funeral business competitive environment.
