Based on the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concept, the main objective of this paper is to construct an Integer Nonlinear Programming (INLP) mathematical model considering the average production yield, multiple production intervals, plants, orders and diverse materials accompanying the information of quantity discounts to deal with the problems of production management and materials purchasing decision. In addition, the proposed model is founded by using the syntax of Lingo 9.0 extended version and the built-in “Global Solver” is selected as the solving method to find out the global optimal solution. A numerical case example is conducted in this paper to simulate the realistic environment where the enterprise met. Actually, the proposed model can fit the real-world applications because it has the highly repeated characteristic and thus it functions as a valuable tool in today's business.
