    Abstract:   閱讀可以獲得知識和啟發,提升學習興趣,有助於人格的形成與發展。而能閱讀小說的學童,其對文字的接受度和運用能力比停留在只閱讀漫畫或故事繪本階段的學童為高,小說內容影響讀者之社會真實認知。   本研究採問卷調查法,以嘉義市國民小學五至六年級學童為研究範圍,藉以瞭解國小高年級學童少年小說閱讀行為和社會真實認知的關係。研究方法採卡方檢定、t檢定、單因子變異數分析及Pearson相關分析,以了解讀者自身因素、讀本特性及外在環境影響閱讀行為及閱讀行為與社會真實認知之關連性。   經由統計分析的結果,獲得以下結論:一、少年小說每週閱讀時數與性別、內發動機、少年小說價格、少年小說頁數、外在環境有關,而與年級、成績、自我認同、少年小說類型無關。二、少年小說每週閱讀冊數與性別、年級、內發動機、自我認同、少年小說價格、少年小說頁數、外在環境有關,而與成績、少年小說類型無關。三、選讀少年小說的價格、頁數與性別、年級有關。四、社會真實認知與少年小說每週閱讀時數、少年小說每週閱讀冊數有關。五、性別與娛樂有關,而與魔窗、認同、告知無關;年級與魔窗、認同、告知有關,而與娛樂無關;成績與告知、娛樂有關,而與魔窗、認同無關;內發動機與魔窗、認同、告知、娛樂有關;自我認同與魔窗、告知、娛樂有關,而與認同無關。   根據所得的結論提出建議,希望能提供少年小說出版單位及有心於兒童閱讀指導者參考,使兒童從閱讀中產生樂趣。
      From reading one could obtain knowledge and inspiration, and promote his learning interests, and which could help with the formation and development of one’s character. For those kids who are able to read novels, their ability of reception and command of words is higher than the ability of those kids who only stay on the stage of reading comics or story pictures; the contents of novels influence readers’ cognition on social reality.   This study adopts questionnaire investigation method, taking the 5th and the 6th grade Elementary School students of Chiayi City as the study scope to understand the relationship between the social reality cognizance and the young Adult novels reading behavior of the senior elementary students. The study methods include Chi-square test,independent-samples t test, oneway ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis for the understanding of reader’s self-factors, features of reading materials, the influence of external environment to reading behavior and the relationship between the reading behavior and the cognition on social reality.   From the result of statistic analysis, the following conclusions are obtained:1.The young Adult novels weekly reading hours have to do with sex, inner motivation, the price of young Adult novels , the book pages and the external environment, and they have nothing to do with class grade , test scores , self-identification and the book type.2.The number of young Adult novels books weekly read all have to do with sex, inner motivation, self-identification, the price of youth novel, the book pages and the external environment, and they have nothing to do with test scores or the book type.3.The price and the pages of selected young Adult novels have to do with sex and class grade .4.The cognition on social reality has to do with the weekly reading hours of young Adult novels and the number of young Adult novels weekly read.5.Sex has to do with entertainment, and it has nothing to do with magic window, identification and notification; class grade has to do with magic window, identification and notification, and it has nothing to do with entertainment; test score has to do with notification and entertainment, and it has nothing to do with magic window and identification; the inner motivation has to do with magic window, identification, notification and entertainment; self-identification has to do with magic window, notification and entertainment, and it has nothing to do with identification.   According to the conclusions, we hope this study can provide a reference to the publishing units of young Adult novels and those who are concerned about children reading guidance, and enable children to have pleasure and fun from readings.
