    Abstract:   本論文所關心的是中年離婚女性的老年規劃以及死亡觀點。    論文是以「女性主義」為研究觀點。運用「自我敘說」、「團體敘說」、「田野觀察」的方法收集資料。在四位50-60歲的中年離婚女性坐入「中年」面向「老年」時,覺察「中老年女性共同處境」下,打破「傳統的養老觀」、建立「老年新境地」、在積極面對、探討「生死議題」之下,她們提出了以下八點的關注: 1、破除「養兒防老」的觀念,建立「自己照顧自己」的能力2、「自由、自在的獨居生活」可以是很幸福的3、破除「傳宗接代」觀念,「香火繼承」並不重要 4、破除傳統父系的「祭祀觀」,樹葬、海葬都是新的選項5、建立互助社群、尋找生命中的感動,活出生活新境地6、統整生命的課題、實踐生命的意義7、「死亡」歸途的認識與準備 8、宗教歸屬與生命體悟   希望本研究對於台灣高齡化社會中,日益趨多的單身中老年女性,在規劃老年生活與出路時,提供多元的思維與選擇,也希望能作為台灣本土老年政策的參考,更盼望經由本研究可以引發更多元族群,投入安老問題的探討。
      This thesis discusses middle-aged divorced women’s plans for old age, and their perspective about death.The thesis is written from a feminist perspective. Using “self-narrative,” “group-narrative,” and “participant observation” methods to collect data.From the chosen four subjects ages between 50-60, facing old age, realizing the situation of living alone, breaking traditional old age retirement plan, constructing “new situation”, and assertively facing and discussing the death questions, 8 issues were raised: 1. break the traditional old-age concept, contract self-help abilities2. live freely and live independently can also mean happiness3. break “having a son to carry on the family name” 4. break patriarchal “sacred” ceremony, see “tree burial” and “sea burial” as new options5. construct a self-help society, look for life meaning6. Integrate life lessons, to put into practice the meaning of life7. prepare and recognize the death journey 8. to belong to a religious group and gaining life perspective   This thesis hopes to provide a fresh perspective for single middle aged females living a society with increase average age different perspective and options when planning for old age, as well as provide the following perspectives for policy makers to consider in regards to their welfare. Further more, this thesis hopes to inspire different social groups to discuss the importance of planning for old age.
