    摘要:   本研究的目的是以在地人的觀點探討:不同的集體記憶如何在西螺這個大社區呈現「我們是西螺」爭奪的情形,看似多元紛亂的集體記憶,在一個嚴格的狀況下可能敵對對立,是否可能進而共構集體記憶,翻新節慶?   以西螺大橋觀光文化節為個案,試圖用「集體記憶」與「發明的傳統」兩大理論,以及節慶與觀光、地方文化產業等相關文獻,採用參與觀察、訪談與次級資料分析等研究方法進行研究。筆者先剖析中央的地方文化政策發展的脈絡,回顧雲林縣社區總體營造運動發展軌跡,來看雲林縣每年舉辦的西螺大橋觀光文化節,承辦單位與民間團體、在地的西螺居民對西螺文化的記憶差異性在哪,藉著地方文化節慶的舉辦,進而探討社區意識的建立、活動與文化紮根的連結性、以及承辦者與攤商協商等問題。最後再根據研究結果給予建議。   西螺大橋觀光文化節是螺陽文教基金會為了保護西螺大橋免於被拆除,而創發的地方節慶。螺陽文教基金會從文藝季一直到大橋節歷屆下來,他們實驗過多種的作法,雖然目前還沒到成熟穩定節慶這樣的狀態,不過他們產生了非意圖的後果,這樣的過程刺激出跟他們不同走向的口店文史協會,以及意外的誘發傳統媽祖文化節慶的活化。這種有網絡基礎之傳統媽祖文化節慶的籌備者,適度吸納一些新元素進來,主動邀有文史概念與有策劃能力的人參與,這樣的結合將產生一個有意思的地方文化發展。
      The purpose of this research is to explore the contesting situation-“We are Hsiluo”- of how the different collective memories are presented in Hsliuo from a local citizen. The collective memory which seems like diversity and tangle may oppose to or compose a same collective memory to renovate the festival in a strict condition.   This research uses Hsliuo Bridge Cultural Festival as a case study, and adopts two theories of “Collective Memory” and “Inventive Tradition” and related literatures of festival, sightseeing and local culture industry. This research adopts Participant Observation, Interview and Secondary analysis as research methods. First, the researcher analyses the development context of central local culture policy and reviews the development trace of Community Total Construction Movement in Yunlin County. This is in order to recognize the memorial difference of Hsiluo culture between the organizers and civic organizations, and local citizens in Hsliuo Bridge Cultural Festival which be held every year in Yunlin County. Then, It can further explore the construction of community consciousness, connection of activity and rooted-culture, the development of culture industry, and the negotiation of organizers and vendors by the holding local culture festival. At last, there are some suggestions to the actors according to the research results.   Hsiluo Bridge Cultural Festival is hosted by Loyan Cultural Foundation to protect the Hsiluo Bridge from being destroyed. Loyan Cultural Foundation has experienced many ways since they held the Festivals of Culture and Arts to Hsiluo Bridge Cultural Festival. Although they don’t have the situation of holding the mature and steady festivals, they bring the consequence unintentionally. The procedure of holding the festival stimulates the development of Kou-Dian Cultural and Historical Association which has different tendency, and brings out the activation of traditional Ma-Zu Cultural Festival unexpectedly. The planners who have the relationship network of holding Ma-Zu Cultural Festival ingest some new elements moderately, and invite the people who have the concept of culture and history and the planning ability to participate the festivals. This kind of combination will bring an interesting local cultural development.
