    Abstract:   本研究採用質性研究方法,從文獻探討、訪談的過程中,了解影響共同學區內學童家長擇校時資訊來源、擇校時考量因素和擇校後對學校的看法。根據訪談結果,作綜合歸納統整,並分析與討論,最後提出具體的結論與建議。本研究之主要研究目的如下:一、探討共同學區與教育選擇權之發展與實施現況。二、瞭解共同學區內,家長選擇學童就讀學校時所考量的因素;選擇學校時,對於學校資訊的取得;以及選擇學校後,對學校的觀感。  對於居住在台中市共同學區的家長,在實際運用了教育選擇權之後,對選擇學校的考慮因素、資訊來源及學生學習的滿意情形作一深入訪談,希望透過家長的角度,了解家長在擇校時真正在意的需求。依據文獻及訪談結果,分析比較後,獲得以下結論。一、台中市共同學區的學校在每年學區劃分時,會做小規模的更動。二、居住在共同學區的家長,並非主動爭取家長教育選擇權,對學區內可以選擇就讀的學校大多不刻意比較。三、優良校風造就明星學校,讓家長心生嚮往。四、家長選擇學校後不輕易讓孩子轉學。五、學校的口碑靠著所有就讀的學生與家長共同創造,並在街坊鄰居間流傳,成為共同學區家長擇校的重要依據。
      Based on qualitative research, the information resources and considerations for choosing schools as well as the opinions about the chosen schools of the parents in the common school district are understood in the literature review and interview process. The interview results are comprehensively integrated, analyzed, and discussed for specific conclusions and suggestions. The research objectives contain1. To discuss the present situations of the development and implementation of common school district and choice of education.2. To understand the considerations of parents in the common school district for choosing schools, the acquisition of school information for choosing schools, and the opinions about the chosen schools.  Aiming at the parents in the common school district in Taichung City, the considerations and information resources for school choice and the student satisfaction with learning are further interviewed. It expects to understand the real demands of such parents for school choices, from the aspect of parents. After analyzing and comparing the literatures and interviews, the following conclusion is summarized.1. The planning of common school districts in Taichung City is slightly modified annually.2. Parents in the common school district do not actively strive for the parental choice of education that they do not purposively compare the schools in the district.3. Excellent school spirit brings up a star school to make parents yearn for it.4. Parents would not easily allow the children changing schools once the schools are chosen.5. The word-of-mouth of a school is created by the students and their parents, which becomes the primary reference for parents in the common school district choosing schools.
