Abstract:	目前民間普遍使用喪禮祭祀空間配置物品及器具，皆採用現代新科研發品，頗有前衛、環保又不失傳統追思樣式，與早期的造型頗有改變造型又保留傳統圖樣。社會現況對於死亡的觀念逐漸開放，人生規劃時決定好自己未來身後事，目的圖求自己與家人於死亡後有尊嚴沒有遺憾。早期人類各民族多有靈魂不滅的觀念，嘉義地區為遷移開墾社會多元化，各種宗教融入習俗之特殊現象。以嘉義市殯儀館為例，告別式祭祀空間動線現場勘查，現況老舊且空間狹窄、經費不足之現象，現代嘉義地區喪禮祭祀習俗，則以道教結合佛教主張以僧侶、道士多方力量超拔祖先靈魂求解脫、道教的赦罪觀使人們認為，惟地藏王菩薩赦罪超渡拔薦法會，才能完全的安撫無祀的厲鬼和祖先免於地獄受苦，由地藏王菩薩鎮壓等祭祀廳儀式空間現象。　　Currently widespread use of folk funeral ritual space configuration itemappliances, all new research using modern products, quite avant-garde, environmentally friendly and yet traditional style memorial, and quite early shape change and shape retention of traditional patterns.social situation gradually opening up to the concept of death; Someone's life planning has already decided his future funeral manner and procedures are seeking to promote their, not to embarrass the family and can be prepared in advance, so that itself has no regrets purpose, Early human human beings have the soul immortal ideas, Chiayi area for the relocation of social diversity, a variety of religious integration into the special phenomenon of custom. To Chiayi City funeral parlor, for example, farewell ritual space moving line site survey, the current situation the space is narrow, the lack of funds of the phenomenon.the modern Chiayi funeral, the combination of Taoist with Buddhism and other forces over the ancestors of the soul to seek relief, Taoism the pardon of the crime that people think, Bodhisattva forgive will be able to fully appease of the hell suffer ancestors, would to fully appease no posterity worship ancestor from hell relief,Bodhisattva ceremony hall space worship phenomenon.
