《禮記》蘊涵中國文化精神,其內容涵蓋禮樂治國的大經大法、生活秩序的建立,以及生命禮儀的安排。本文即針對《禮記》生命禮儀,從思想層面予以深究,並配合生命禮儀的課題,包括冠、婚、喪、祭等禮儀,及其他食、衣、住、行、育、樂生活中所涉及之禮儀,予以說明。本文研究視角,復以「生命教育」為主軸,不僅在文化層面上,平舖地從宗教、政治、教育、社會、歷史、倫理各方面,作相關研究探討,並且參考「生命教育」三大領域,其一是《禮記》生命禮儀所呈現的形上意義與宗教精神,其二是生命禮儀之倫理結構及道德原則,其三是人格統整及情緒教育;依序對《禮記》生命禮儀思想作一整體研究。 “Li-Ji” is a great canon in Chinese culture. It expressed the Confucian philosophical thoughts and the issues of life rites, including the growth, marriage, death, and memorial ceremony. Besides that, the ordinary living rites for feeding, dressing, housing, communicating, nurturing, and entertainments are also mentioned in the canon. In this article, the author would explore “Li-Ji” with the viewpoints of life education in nowadays to review its cultural meanings in religion, politics, education, society, history, and ethics. The three dimensions of life education formed the structure exploring “Li-Ji” in the article: (1) The ontological and spiritual meaning of the life rites. (2) The ethical structure and the moral principles of the life rites. (3) The integrity of personality and the affection education. These three dimensions in sequence shows how we review the main thoughts of life rites in “Li-Ji” in contemporary time.
