    摘要: 長庚大學通識中心的核心課程為三學分制課程,相較於兩學分制的多元選修課程,核心課程的課程設計方針為兩小時的講授課程加上第三小時的討論時間。為了有效地提升學生對於討論的參與度,「歌劇與歌劇院」特別注重課程內容與討論的結合,並且在第三小時的「課堂討論」時間運用了多各種不同形式的討論。由於「歌劇與歌劇院」是一門跨領域的課程,包含了音樂領域的歌劇與建築領域的歌劇院,因此在課程內容的設計上,除了特別致力於建立學生對於歌劇的類型、不同時代的特色與聲音類別之分辨力,亦重視歌劇作品與其演出的場所之關聯。除此之外,針對每週不同的歌劇主題,第三小時的「課堂討論」更有助於開發延伸性的內容。透過核心課程的上課加討論之方式,學生除了能夠建立起足夠的歌劇知識基礎、增加欣賞歌劇的能力之外,甚至進一步培養對於藝術演出方式的觀察力,以及具備感知之後的口語表達能力。藉由跨領域的內容安排,能夠比單一領域的作品介紹更具廣度;而核心課程特有的互動性授課,則是能激發出學生更具深度的學習認知力。
    Core curriculum at Chang Gung University is the course of three credits. Compared to the two-credit elective course, core curriculum is set to take two hours with a third hour of discussion. In order to encourage students to participate in the discussion, the third-hour discussion is very diverse. Due to “Opera and Opera Houses” is a cross disciplinary course, including “opera” in the music field and “opera houses” in the architectural field, the design of the course content for students is focused on not only the types of opera, the characteristics of the times and types of sounds, but also the connection between the opera and its venues. Besides, the third-hour discussion can help to develop extensible content of the course on different topics given by each week. Therefore, students can build up enough opera knowledge, increase their ability to appreciate opera, and even cultivate their ability of observing artistic performance and oral expression after perception. Through the arrangement of cross domain, it can be more extensive than the introduction of opera works in a single field. The unique interactive teaching method of core curriculum can stimulate students’ deeper learning cognition.
