    摘要: 本文以2005年人間衛視台製播觀世音經典戲劇《觀音老母》為例,探究二十一世紀後觀音戲劇的敘事方式與傳播效益。此劇編劇敘事著重於啟度方式,將佛教思維帶入劇中,強化佛教傳播與人間實踐的過程與意義,著重入世的佛教實踐思維。此外,本劇所尋之活菩薩即為家中老母,以此強化孝道精神,並指出孝道內涵實為佛教信仰之基礎。而本劇所設計之探尋歷程,也體現觀世音菩薩布施精神,這是製播本劇的意義,期許大眾如觀世音菩薩般,能成為一位具備「慈悲心、智慧力、勇猛力」的眾生保護者,實踐佛教布施真諦。故本劇作超脫往常觀音戲劇敘事規模,對二十一世紀佛教影視戲劇傳播發展,具備一定的影響力。
    This article takes the classic drama “Avalokitesvara Mother” produced and broadcasted by Renjian TV in 2005 as an example to explore the narrative style and dissemination effect of Avalokitesvara drama after the 21st century. The screenwriter of this story focused on inspiration and transformation, bringing Buddhist thinking into the play. This drama strengthens the significance of the process of Buddhism dissemination and human practice, and focuses on the Buddhist practice thinking of joining the world. In addition, the living Bodhisattva we are looking for in this play is our parents, which strengthens the spirit of filial piety and is the foundation of Buddhist belief. The theme of this play is to strengthen the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva spirit. The production of this drama expects the public to be like Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, to become a protector of sentient beings with “compassion, wisdom, and courage”, and to practice the true essence of Buddhism's generosity. Therefore, this drama is different from the previous Guanyin drama. It has a great influence on the development of Buddhist film and television drama in the 21st century.
