老子的思想體系博大精深,而其珍貴在其從平凡細微處反省之普世的哲理;「守柔不爭」、「有生於無」以及「致虛守靜」等義理皆是為安頓人之生命而發,而唯有人心先安定了,方可向外開展出恆常的生命價值。教育是生命學習重要歷程,透過教育使人得以開創生命之價值;而以老學思想為原則的教育內涵,則是透過和諧、自然的價值呈顯使人有開創生命真實價值的可能。 是以本文以老學義理為根基,對教育思想的內涵上做一哲學省察,透由老學義理闡明相應的教育哲理,以「自然和諧的教育本質」、「有生於無的教學原理」、以及「虛靜觀復的教育實踐」為詮釋的方向。而從教育思想的根本省察,至教育現場的具體實踐,使教育者及受教者皆得惠於老子的哲學智慧,而得以發揮教育之於生命的價值。 The philosophy system of Laozi's ideology is broad, profound, and precious, because its general principle comes from the instrospection of where is ordinary and and subtle. These principles of "shou rou bu zheng- keep soft without struggle", "you sheng yu wu- being generated from not stubborn mind" and "zhi xu shou jing- keep introverted and peace" are aimed to settle human beings heart into peaceful. And only the heart is settled first, then human can spread their permanent life value. Education is an important course of learning to find the value of life. The education based on the philosophy of Laozi will make people have the possibility to create the true value of life through the present of harmony and nature. Based on the Laozi's ideology, this article makes a philosophical examination of educational thoughts, and clarifies the corresponding educational philosophy. Therefore, these themes are illustrated by "educational essence of natural and harmony" , "the teaching principle of keep soft without stubborn mind", and "the educational practice of modest, peace self-awareness". By this study, from essence to the specific practice of the education, the educators and the students can benefit from the philosophical wisdom of Laozi, and show the meaning of education for life.
