本論文主要著重於漢譯《增壹阿含經》中譬喻文學的部分，首先探討《增壹阿含經》中展現譬喻故事的手法、文學特色、以及譬喻素材的性質與來源，學習如何結合義理與譬喻。第二，藉由了解《增壹阿含經》義理的呈現，除了涵蓋身口意清淨行，是否包含大乘菩薩思想，以及實踐菩薩道的例證。第三，探討《增壹阿含經》對於現代人的適用性，不論是閱讀層面、運用層面、或是自我實踐層面，從中找出適用性，或者是否有其他轉化的型態，讓現代人更容易理解與接受經文中的佛法。 The study of this thesis mainly focus on the metaphorical literature of Ekottara Āgama. Firstly, not only analyze the methodology and its characteristic in Ekottara Āgama but also its source of metaphorical material, learn its essence of combination of doctrine and metaphor. Secondly, examine the doctrine in Ekottara Āgama, include in purifying our body, speech and mind, whether it composes of Mahāyāna thoughts and examples of practicing the Boddhisattva's path. Thirdly, analyze the application of Ekottara Āgama in modern society, reveal its adaption in reading and practical way, or its transforming way to let people be familiar with the Dharma in nowadays.
