    摘要: 　　一貫道從一九四五年傳至臺灣的同時也陸續傳至東亞、東南亞國家，至今已擴展到五大洲八十多個國家，然一貫道之海外傳播主要還是由臺灣拓展出去，這些發展乃是臺灣早年傳道之一貫道前人輩們所奠定下之基礎，而其中一個很關鍵的人物即是陳文祥。他為一貫道之開展做了重要的奠基，也因此本文透過對他生命歷程之整理即是在建構關於一貫道在臺灣之歷史，再者蒐集與爬梳他的講道文稿來研究統理出其思想脈絡。　　陳文祥本為高雄彌陀鄉人，年少時至日本學醫，後來到中國上海開業，機緣下參與一貫道修辦行列，他是第一位將一貫道傳入臺灣之人，且受其師母孫慧明欽命為為一貫道臺灣樞紐之重要職責。陳文祥在生時親筆撰寫了〈回憶錄〉以及數篇講課文稿，本論文第二章梳理陳文祥在中國參與一貫道，後來回到臺灣傳揚一貫道，這整個生命過程的歷史脈絡、政治環境，剖析當時一貫道在臺灣興起之社會、經濟、文化型態，為本研究提供完善的時代背景訊息。第三章闡述陳文祥之生命歷程，主要以其自傳〈回憶錄〉與他傳〈行狀〉、《紀念集》、《傳紀》來交互參照，解析個別敘事內容中所傳遞的特徵訊息，第四章則是探討陳文祥之講道文稿，解析其教義思想之承襲、轉化與再創新，系統歸納出其理天思想之形上根據，及內在修持法門以正心為入手處，外王實踐以行功立德說來引導信眾在災劫苦難中安置個人與群體之生命。而其生命歷程之整理與思想脈絡之研究也裨益研究者與來者作為生命教育與修辦典範精神運用依據。
    　　I-Kuan Tao was expanded to Taiwan since 1945 and at the same time was expanded to East Asia and Southeast Asia. I-Kuan Tao has propagated globally in five continents and more than eighty countries today. The mainly development of I-Kuan Tao global propagation started from Taiwan by many preachers. They had well developed foundation in Taiwan to start the missionary work in new countries. One of the early preachers was Chen Wenxiang, the key figure, who laid an important foundation for the development of I-Kuan Tao. Therefore, the purpose of this study aims to organize Chen Wenxiang's life course to show the history of I-Kuan Tao in Taiwan and to collect and analyze his preach scriptures in order to study his thoughts and doctrines about I-Kuan Tao.　　Chen Wenxiang was born in Mi Tuo district, Kaohsiung. He was a student of medicine in Japan when he was young. Later he started a business in Shanghai, China. By a chance, he met Tao and attain enlightenment, so he was the first person who expanded Tao to Taiwan. Therefore, he was assigned to be the head Shuniu- Grand senior master of Taiwan by Venerable Lady Teacher Yue Hui Shi Mu- Sun, Huiming. Section two provides some background information about the time when Chen Wenxiang was learning and transmitting Tao in China and later how he expanded Tao to Taiwan where at that time the society situation was complicated to expand Tao. The section shows the situation of the society, economic, and culture at that time in Taiwan to provide a perfect background information for this research. Section three states Chen Wenxiang's life history, mainly using his autobiography “Memoirs” and his biography “Xingzhuang”, “Remembrance”, “Biography” for cross-reference and analyzing the characteristic messages conveyed in individual narrative content. In section four, the study categorizes Chen Wenxiang's sermon manuscripts into three parts: the doctrines of Heaven; right mind - the key to cultivate; based on the idea of karma, the teaching of doing meritorious deeds to atone one's sins under disasters.
