宗教文化節慶活動可為信徒帶來安頓身心靈的力量，發揮穩定社會功能，也可將傳統民俗技藝重新展現。民雄鄉大士爺廟於農曆7月21日-23日舉辦大士爺文化祭，此活動已成為嘉義縣頗具規模的宗教節慶活動，也是台灣農曆七月重要祭典其中之一。本研究透過與廟方、社區人員深度訪談，藉由質性研究方法與文獻分析，探討民雄大士爺廟節慶活動現況及民雄大士爺廟節慶活動對社區之影響。研究顯示節慶活動保有獨特傳統祭典但文化傳承及創新需有所突破、節慶活動能維繫社區感情增加居民收入和促進地方產業活絡但有環境汙染影響交通及潛在社區公共安全隱憂，本文將依據前述研究結果進行討論與建議。 Religious festivals have the functions of bringing believers the power to settle down the body and mind, stabling the society, and can also re-displaying traditional folk skills. Dashiye Cultural Festival is known as one of the important religious festivals and it is held every year from July 21st to 23rd of the Chinese lunar calendar in the Dashiye Temple in Minxiong Township. This event has become a large-scale religious festival in Chiayi County, and it is also one of the important festivals in the ghost month in Taiwan.Through in-depth interviews with temple officials and community personnel, as well as qualitative research methods and literature analysis, this study mainly discusses the current status of festive activities in Minxiong Dashiye Temple and its impact on the community. Research shows that festive activities preserve unique traditional rituals, but there is room for breakthroughs in cultural heritage and innovation. Festive activities can also maintain community sentiment, increase residents’ income, and promote local industrial activity; however, there are concerns about environmental pollution, impact on traffic, and potential threats to public safety.This research will discuss and make recommendations based on the aforementioned research results.
