    Abstract: 這是台南西區五府千歲保安宮裡的針椅和刺球，這些都是乩童所使用的道具。刺球：俗稱紅柑，球體四周反插釘支，大小不一，小者五十多支，大者一百多支，皆作八圈排列、上下對稱；釘支尖處繫有串聯的紅綢線，與釘製銅棍一樣，除了可以固定法器之外，也可以避免操演時釘尖過度深入皮肉中。操演的部位除了與銅棍一樣以刺背、扎臂之外，更可以刺黏頭、背、額、臂之上，有時也拿來作擲高的表演，即刺球擲高之後用空手、裸背或是頭部去在承接，使之釘住在身上。
