The study of Liu Ji-Shan is very popular. But in the well liked situation, Ran Pu Za Ji (《人譜雜記》) is always ignored. This paper wants to make up a deficiency to the shortcoming. First,I consider the form of Ran Pu Za Ji and analyse the reasons that it is always ignored. Then I feel like to compare Ran Pu Za Ji and Ran Pu Lei Ji(人譜類記)). According to my reading about the two books, Ran Pu Lei Ji is not correct. Third, I investigate the interpretive approaches of Liu Ji-Shan's Ran Pu Za Ji. We will find that it is suitable to to regard Ran Pu Za Ji. as a legal case of realizing Tao. So we decide that the properly interpretive approach is interpreting classics by the measure of pratically enlightening. Next, I confer the functions of Ran Pu Za Ji in the process of moral practice. It has the effects--the guiding beforehand, keeping and detecting on the instant ,and mutual proof afterwards. On the conclusion, I will show that Ran Pu is important in the progress of moral practice, and Ran Pu Za Ji is also.
