    Abstract: 石類樂器主要是磬。磬是以堅硬的大理石或玉石製成。石質越堅硬，聲音就越鏗鏘宏亮。磬可分為特磬，編磬等。照片中的是特磬，體型特大之石製樂器。古代有三角形，也有雕刻虎獸動物外形及雷雲花紋，周代後多做曲尺形，在頂端鑽孔繫繩，懸掛在架子上。祭孔時置於大成殿前之右，在每一樂句結束時，敲擊一下，以收其韻。與編磬屬於石音，石音為「玉振金聲」之玉音，又稱玉音。
