    Abstract: 這是新加坡光明山普覺禪寺所設置的火葬場。在建築的型態上，這座火葬場有著結合泰國佛教建築的風格。由寺廟來經營火葬場，這種型態也延續著中國宗教信仰處理死亡儀式的一個脈絡，也結合了當地其他民族宗教的色彩。新加坡宗教信仰複雜，華人多信奉佛教和道教，少數信天主教和基督教；馬來人信奉伊斯蘭教；印度人信奉印度教。
