    摘要:   本論文以「平路家國書寫的研究」為論述主題,旨在探究時代變遷下,平路的人生經歷是如何寫出這種具有濃厚的「家國意識」作品。平路雖然是從工科畢業,最後轉戰文類寫作,她的作品以文化和社會評論系列著名,然而小說、散文等作品也不遜色於其他小說家、散文家。作品充分表現對於社會、國家、文化、人權、性別等議題的關切與評議。齊邦媛老師曾論述關於平路的作品:「我們樂見這一代作家豐富的潛力。它見證了自由教育如何打開了它們寫作的視野,增強了他們下筆的信心。這也是台灣文學發展的成敗所繫。」楊照、張系國也相當肯定與讚揚平路小說的價值與地位,而筆者也將承續前人的研究,肯定並發掘平路文中一再呈現「家國意識」的論述。   全論文共分五章:第一章緒論部分將對研究的動機與文獻回顧部分作論述,並將論文中的重要名詞作界定;第二章論述平路的求學經歷與工作經歷、作品論述與分析,進而從生平去了解其童年生活對平路日後創作帶來的影響,並區隔出平路在美國與台灣兩地創作的差異以探討其心路歷程的轉變;第三章以平路作品中家國書寫藝術來做敘事模式、小說人物設置、情節結構三方面,來探討平路的藝術特色,為其創作手法與藝術價值作一番論述,樹立其文學價值、地位;第四章則是,「家」的概念與「儒家」思想帶來的影響,以及論述「家國意識」為何深植於人心的視角來研究平路的作品;第五章結論,則為論文全篇之總結,說明研究成果與未來展望。
      This research is mainly investigated on Ping Lu's“Consciousness Of Homeland”writing style. It examines on how Ping Lu's experience under the change of the time played the crucial role to affect her on producing such “Homeland conscious” works.   Although graduated from the department of Mathematics Statistics, she wasfascinated by the beauty of writing and transferred her occupation to a writer. Thoughshe is best known as a commentator criticizing on culture value and society issue, her novels and essays are not inferior to other novelists and essayists. Her works includes several themes, such as social phenomenon, cultural development, national identity,gender issues and human right.   For Ping Lu's works, professor Chi Pang-Yuan stated that we are glad to see the unlimited potential writer of next generation. They prove that nontraditional education can broaden learners' mind and perspective, enhance their confidence in writing. Her works affect deeply on the development of Taiwan's literature. Moreover, two of professors, Chao Yang and Shi-Kuo Chang, also praised the value and status of Ping Lu's novel. The researcher of this study following the steps of previous study engaged in investigating the recurring topics of “Consciousness of Homeland” cognitive. There are five chapters in this study:  Chapter 1 is introduction which includes motivation, literature review and the definition of important terms. Chapter 2, Ping Lu's life would be closely examined to find out the factors which influence on Ping Lu's writing. Ping Lu's studying process and working experience discussion and analysis of literary works. Through Ping Lu childhood to understand the impact on the future creation, In order to investigate the change in mentality, must understand the distinction in the United States and the differences of Taiwan Creative. In chapter 3, it is writing skills that would be focus on. There are three dimensions that Ping Lu conducts her works. There are unpredictable character development and the elaborated plot arrangement. For her special writing style and high literature value of her works, Ping Lu establishes herself as a prominent writer, and holds an extremely high status. For chapter 4, the effect of Confucianism on the concept of "Home Concept" "Confucian thought" and "the consciousness of homeland" in People would be examined. That explains the reason why the concept of “The Consciousness of Homeland” plays an important role on Ping Lu's works. In chapter 5, it contains the result of this study, and the suggestion for future study.
