The main subject of this research, “Jin Cheng Ge” is a traditional village processional ceremony or called “Din-Tau” in Taiwanese which uses a unique performance to present the Taiwanese traditional music and dramas. It is passed down by a group of people in His Hu area, Chang Hwa County. Through out this thesis, it gives a clearly sketch of the formation of “Kao-Jia Tau” (the name of a performing group), how the group thrive in the past time in Taiwanese history and how “Jin Cheng Ge” connects its history with the local life as well. By the observation, we can perceive the respect to life and beliefs from ancient people and understand what agriculturists’ world like. However, there are plenty funds and resources introduced by the community recently. There are still many difficulties such as organization and management as new challenges for the tradition Din-Tau. Basically, “Jin Cheng Ge” is defined as a non-profit organization (NPO) which tends to serve and contribute itself not only in the religious also in the local community. After a series of analysis, such as development of the organization, local culture and policies these may affect the functions and methods of management of a music club. There are several points are found as below in this study:1. Cherish the village processional ceremony(Din-Tau), the core value of non-profit organization (NPO) and find back its tradition mode of operation.2. Members of the club are also knowledge workers.3. The reward of public admiration is a treasure that works and interacts by the local community and people together. 4. It is necessary to consider the particularity and localization of this NPO when the public sector plans the cultural policies.5. The budget issue should be clear and accountable.6. To build up fundamentally and pass down the traditional ceremony(Din-Tau)to the community and school.
