Abstract:	全球掀起一股懷舊熱，在二十一世紀初繼續蔓延，成為當代文化的重要主題。在台灣，觀光旅遊、歷史文物展、餐飲空間、電影、電視劇、廣告等，皆爭相呈現各年代的懷舊圖像。隨著懷舊風潮的興起，「古早」台灣愈來愈受青睞，歷史建築的保存意識亦受注視。因此，位居阿里山公路中繼站的奮起湖，在政府實施周休二日後，又見人潮湧現，再度成為眾人尋幽訪勝的目標。深藏感情之奮起湖依舊保存良好的舊建築，能感受到其濃濃的古早味，勾勒出老城鎮的懷舊風貌，因此，吸引許多觀光客前往，成為重要的文化觀光景點之一。　　　由於奮起湖具有獨特且豐富人文與歷史，本研究將以文獻回顧法及田野調查法，彙整過去相關文獻、史料，以及訪談當地耆老與文史工作者之資料，並利用景觀敘事的理論觀點，以多元交叉法分解奮起湖之「地方象徵物」、「重要事件與人物」、「歷史建築與遺跡」、「儀式與風俗」等四大部分，並以「說故事的方式」結合奮起湖的人文景觀與歷史文化，以及其背後的故事與意義，將奮起湖有關的地景或者產業整合而凸顯出奮起湖是富含故事魅力的觀光景點。最後，本研究將基於研究結果提出奮起湖之觀光發展建議，提供相關業者與機構參考，期盼重塑充滿故事性的奮起湖。　　At the beginning of 21st century, Fenchihu has become one of the most important contemporary cultural scenery. In Taiwan,tourism, historical exhibitions,food and beverages, films, TV shows and advertisement, etc, the old styles are going to be a trend. ＂Ancient Taiwan＂ has become important. Also people in Taiwan attach great importance to these landmark buildings and how to conserve them. ＂Fenchihu＂ was the biggest and the most important relay station that on the way to reach Alishan. After the government implements the two-day weekend policy, Fenchihu becomes a famous tourist location. At Fenchihu, the historic buildings still conserve very well and we are still able to feel the old-fashioned streets. Fenchinhu is full of regional features and culture that attracts many tourists to visit.　　　Since Fenchihu has an unique, abundant humanity and history, this research uses The Method of Literature Review and Field Study by documents by gathering past relevant documents and historical data and information after interviewing local members as well as utilized literature, historical structures. The theories of Landscape Narratives the basic views, and classify by Content Analysis ' local signature ' ,' important incident and personage ', ' historical building and trace ' and 'ceremonies and customs' of Fenchihu these four major parts to combine its culture landscape and history by using the story telling method about its location and industry.　　　Finally, this research will provide suggestions of developing Fenchihu tourism and offers relevant organization structures and look forward to reinventing the Fenchihu stories.
