| 摘要: | 本研究在學校設立美術館收藏、展示各類藏品，供學童瀏覽、參觀，如此往往可以培養出靈感與興趣的背景基礎下。探討兒童美術館在學校教育的實質意義，並依文建會「學生美術館」計劃之目標理念為根據，探析中小學校的「兒童美術館」，是以校園環境，利用原有空間，做為藝術課程實踐的場域，本研究將探討兒童美術館的角色與功能是否能與藝術教育的課程相輔相成，能否使藝術與人文課程與美術館相結合呈現在校園中，提高學童的美術鑑賞能力。 本論文分為五章，第一章為緒論；第二章國小藝術教育與兒童美術館，內容包括國小藝術教育與兒童美術館的理念與發展；第三章為青山國小兒童美術館的概述、兒童美術館的沿革以及兒童美術館與藝術教育的互動關係。第四章為兒童美術館在校園的功能性意涵、社會性意涵與學生問卷調查分析。第五章則為結論與建議。藉著青山國小兒童美術館的發展與現況，以現今國內校園設置美術館之目標，向青山國小學校行政人員、教師、學生方面提出建議。其中包括對「建立導覽制度」、「調整開館時間與增加宣傳管道」、「增加典藏作品空間」、「增進全校師生的參與感」這幾個部份提出建議。
