Abstract:	社會個案工作是社會工作的方法之一，用來協助個人或其家庭處理困難、解決問題。本研究採內容分析和質性研究的方式，以嘉義家庭扶助中心服務的已結案個案資料為樣本，採立意取樣選出九個個案為主要分析內容，並輔以該中心資深社工師二名，進行深度訪談，來瞭解該中心社工人員所採用的社會個案工作處遇模式，以及影響處遇模式的因素有哪些？　　　研究結果如下：一、嘉義家庭扶助中心「家庭扶助」服務的社會工作處遇模式大致可以歸納出三種型態，其為1.心理暨社會適應模式、2.行為修正模式、3.問題解決模式。二、從研究中可以發現社工人員的處遇模式，經常受到案主系統、目標系統和媒介變遷系統的影響，其中又以案主系統的配合程度和自決性的影響最大。三、隨著時代的變遷個案類型複雜性增加，該機構社工人員的處遇模式並未有很大的轉變。但個案處遇卻綜融團體工作和社區工作的方法來改進人群服務技術，因此，該機構運用外來社會工作理論從事機構服務工作之推動，雖仍延續著美國模式，卻也隨著台灣社會工作的發展逐漸融入本土文化，而發展出一套屬於國內非營利組織特有的社會工作模式。　　　本研究提出下列建議供家扶中心做為改善「家庭扶助」方案之參考：一、加強社工人員服務品質上質的提升：盡量減少社工人員個案量的負荷以提升專業的技能。二、建立個案成效評估制度：加強個案專業評估和落實專業督導制度。三、強化個案資料電腦化和保存：建立個案資訊化管理和個案記錄檔案電腦化。　　Analyzing social casework which is one of the methods of social work is used to help individuals or their families deal with their difficulties and solve their problems. This study used content analysis and quality methods. In order to understand how social workers find solutions to case problems and the factors that influence the way they deal with the cases, nine cases were selected as samples from the finished-cases of Chiayi Branch Office. And we had in-depth interviews with two senior social workers from the centre.　　　The result of the study is as follows: 1. The methods used by the Chiayi Branch Office's 'Family Helper Project' can be roughly summarized in three kinds of types of social work treatments. They are (1).Psycho-social Model; (2). Behavior Modification Model, (3).Problem-solving Model. 2. This method does not change a lot even though cases may become more complex as time passes. Employees become more experienced through group work and community work. Even though the method used was originally developed in the U.S.A., we have adapted this method, integrating the culture of Taiwan, into a new method.3. We have found that the type of treatments, which the social workers choose, depends upon the clients' cooperation and the abilities of self-decision. The clients' important others are often the significant factors that disturb and affect how the social workers choose and execute the treatments. Besides, the change-medium system includes the agency and its personnel, the social workers. The social workers' professional values influence the choices of the treatments. However, their professional abilities and perceptions are affected by the organizational characteristics of their agency, and the education and training their agency provides. Hence, compared with the social workers' personal professional values and abilities, the organizational characteristics and the education and training beliefs of the agency have more influences. The ideals that the supervisors have on “family-helper project”, and resources that the agency itself holds also have effects on the way the social workers prescribe the treatment.　　　This research provides the three following suggestions for the centre in order to improve the ‘Family Helper Project': 1. To improve the quality of treatments by reducing the caseload of the social workers. 2. To set up an effective system of case-evaluation: enhancing the professionalism of the case-evaluation system, and building the professional supervision system.　　　The computerization of case-data: establishing the cyber-management system of case-data, and contributing the computerization of the case-recording data.
