摘要: | 高齡教育學術研究已邁向逐漸形成系統知識時期,近來研究社群大量擴增,然此是否有助於高齡教育專業化,則有待進一步省思與探討。本研究首先就實證主義、後實證主義、批判理論、建構主義、參與、實用主義六大典範在本體論、認識論與方法論等三大問題的主張加以論述,繼之,探討我國高齡教育發展之相關研究。本研究採用內容分析法,針對國內2006至2011年臺灣高齡教育學位論文進行回顧性的內容分析。研究結果發現研究取向深受政策趨勢引導,前瞻性、批判性取向研究稍嫌不足,研究對象偏重參與學習活動高齡者或單一區域教育機構,研究主題以學習需求與動機為主,忽略高齡者自主尊嚴、社會參與、民眾老化觀念、代間教育、專業化與資源整合等主題,在研究典範方面採取實證典範取向的論文比例最高,調查研究法為最頻繁使用的研究方法。本研究最後提出三項建議:加強高齡教育基礎主題研究;採用融合多元的方法論與策略;促進高齡教育研究的本土化發展,作為臺灣高齡教育學術研究未來之展望。 Academic research on education for the elderly has moved into the era where system knowledge is gradually being formed, with a massive increase of research groups in recent years. However, whether the current state is conducive to the specialization of senior education is subject to further reflection and discussion. First of all, this study will elaborate on the arguments of six paradigms: positivism, post-positivism, critical theory, constructivism, participation and pragmatism, concerning the three major issues: ontology, epistemology and methodology. Thereafter, relevant studies of developments in Taiwan’s senior education will be explored. In this study, content analysis is adopted to conduct retrospective content analysis on the subject of elderly education dissertations in Taiwan from 2006 to 2011. The findings show that research orientation is deeply affected by policy trends. Forward-looking and critical orientation studies are somewhat lacking. In regard to research subjects, undue emphasis is given to senior citizens who participate in learning activities or in a single regional educational institution. Most studies primarily focus on learning needs and motivation, and have overlooked themes such as: self-dignity of the elderly, public engagement, aging awareness among the population, intergenerational education, specialization and resource integration. With respect to research paradigms, dissertations which adopt the positivist paradigm approach are the most numerous, and the survey method is the most frequently used research method. Finally, this study will put forward three recommendations: to strengthen basic theme research on elderly education, to adopt integrated and diverse methodology and strategy, as well as to promote localized development of elderly education research. The aforesaid three proposals can be considered as reflecting the future focus of academic research on elderly education in Taiwan. |
