交通為市街成長之命脈,許多街區的開發往往同時搭配交通網之規劃。日本近代之交通建設,是以鐵道為主所發展出來的規劃技術,其於統治台灣期間,亦同步將此「鐵道與街區」之成套發展構想,運用於台灣的市街之中。伴隨此「鐵道與街區」之成套規劃,另一方面所需要的是土地開發公司之配合,特別是與政界關係良好、掌握都市發展走向、配合官方交通建設之土地開發公司。而台灣於二十世紀初,亦首度開始有土地開發公司的設立,其中「台灣土地建物株式會社」於台北的開發事業,正是印證上述規劃思想之最佳範例。本文即以日治時期台北市內淡水線鐵道上之「大正街」車站設站,與該站站前之日本人住宅區「大正街」之開發為主要內容。藉由解析其形成之歷史過程,彰顯「鐵道設站與住宅區開發」之鐵道建設相關面向,並論及此類土木建設所造成之文化影響。 Transportation is the lifeline in urban development. That is to say, the developments of many districts tie in the network of communication lines. The conception of transportation construction in modern Japan mainly comes from the planning technology of railway. Therefore, Japanese authority also applied the complete conception of “railway and district” to the districts in Taiwan during the Japanese occupation era.Along with the complete conception of “railway and district”, it also needs cooperation with land development companies which are well connected in political circles, control the tendency of urban development, and concordant with authoritative transportation construction. In the Early 20th Century, it first comes to the establishment of land development companies. Among these companies, “Taiwan Land and Building Corporation” which founded in Taipei was indeed the best example to prove the planning concept above-mentioned.This article intends to discuss the “Da-Zheng District” station situated at Danshui railway line and the development of the Japanese residential areas- “Da-Zheng District” in Taipei City in the Japanese occupation era. Through analyzing the forming process, this article attempts to manifest the aspect of railway construction-“the construction of railway station area & development in residential areas”, and discuss the cultural effect that civil engineering construction has caused.
