    Abstract:   現代化的社會下,由於資訊發展、交通運輸、傳播媒體發展興盛,間接帶動人口移動!近年來臺灣新移入的外來人口快速增加,也間接促進了不同族群的融和並且促進移民政策的形成。在臺灣對族群的定義通常是以共同來源或共同文化語言的群體作為判斷依據,也是一種相對認同的概念。而族群認同是國家認同的一種,國家認同對於國家安全是有重要的影響,這可從臺灣過去的歷史發現族群認同在國家安全議題上是有其重要性。新移入的人口在新的身份之下,原本的居民能否產生對新移入者的認同呢?而新移民的移入是否會進而影響台灣的國家認同感呢?新移民相關的議題與新移民快速增加,通常是透過媒體的呈現。因此一般的民眾對新移民的印象常來自於媒體的建構影響。新聞媒體的興盛,如果負面新聞的頻繁出現,是否會讓原本的居民對新住民貼上負面標籤? 筆者將從人口移動與新移民相關的評論跟報導,來研究台灣民眾對新移民的認同。 
      Globalization and Transport development resulting in migration flows. In Taiwan, we are encountering in rapid population increase. It resulting in the fusion of diverse ethnic groups and the formation of a new immigration policy. New immigrant population in the national population structure changes is an important role in the national security, new immigrants and their descendants will change the current demographic composition. Taiwan is an immigrant society since ancient times, the population changes on the national would affect national security. This study intends to know (1) people's attitudes toward for new immigrants; (2) nation identity have significant effects on people's attitudes toward nation security for new immigrants. This study was to investigate the association of international population movements and national security, the development perspective of the national security of the new immigrant populations by the author in recent years of newspaper.
